Sidekick Connect Privacy Policy

Information Sidekick Connect collects

Sidekick Connect collects and stores information needed to provide the app. Depending on the features you use and the information you or your business provide, this can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and physical addresses; user and device identifiers; photos or videos you add; and other content you enter or manage, such as referral submissions, review or service feedback, notes, and customer interaction records. These details may relate to your business account or to customers whose information you manage in Sidekick Connect.

This information is associated with an account, device, or identifiable customer record. Sidekick Connect uses it for app functionality, including account operation and the customer experience, review, referral, and follow-up workflows you request. We do not use this information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising, and we do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, such as financial account numbers, government identification numbers, or health information, unless a feature specifically requests it and you are authorized to provide it.

How Sidekick Connect uses and stores information

Sidekick Connect stores information you provide or create in the app so you can use its customer experience, review, referral, and follow-up features. We use information to maintain accounts, provide app functions, support customer workflows, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, and respond to support requests.

Sidekick Connect is designed to work with HighLevel. When you connect a HighLevel account or use an integration feature, Sidekick Connect sends relevant information to the HighLevel location you connect so the requested workflow can operate. Information may include customer or referral details, notes, and interaction or follow-up information, depending on the feature and your configuration.

HighLevel and service providers

Sunfoundry stores Sidekick Connect data and transfers relevant data to HighLevel as described above. HighLevel processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for connecting the intended HighLevel account and for ensuring you have authority to add or transfer customer information to that account.

We also use service providers to host, operate, secure, and support Sidekick Connect. They may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide services to Sunfoundry and subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your responsibilities and customer information

If you use Sidekick Connect to store or manage information about your customers, you are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions or consents required for your use of that information, including when you send messages or request reviews or referrals. Sidekick Connect provides tools for your business workflows; it does not determine whether your communications comply with laws that apply to your business.

Retention and deletion

We retain Sidekick Connect information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account and records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information stored by Sunfoundry by emailing jonathan.welle@sunfoundry.com.

When an account is closed or a deletion request is completed, some information may remain for a limited period in backup systems or where retention is required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Information already transferred to HighLevel or another service must be managed or deleted through that service as well.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Sidekick Connect is a business application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Sidekick Connect or our data practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date.
